More pros than cons, but still.
Quirky themed bedrooms. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations, offering diverse options that fueled my adventures.
Limited evening dining options coupled with inconvenient parking arrangements posed significant challenges .

We stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed the place. We had a great stay in Castres. Terrific double room was absolutely stunning. The hotel was in the central setting to walk to all the attractions.

The spacious Junior Suite was super tidy and came with good Medieval décor. The staff were great. The owner personally carried my bags to the second floor room, and the breakfast offered a range of options including excellent coffee and various fresh items. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore local amenities.
Parking can be somewhat challenging due to the narrow streets.

I had a really unforgettable stay at this trendy boutique hotel. The breakfast was generous, the room was well-equipped and themed in renaissance style. Had good facilities, such as a minibar, central heating and an iron. The location was exceptionally nice for walking around Goya Museum. Plus, it was near to the Victoria and Albert museum, the centre of Castres and '' Le Medieval '' restaurant in the town...
Some people working there were not so helpful.

The receptionist/owner was not helpful or friendly. He gave us apparently the worst room in the hotel which was clearly empty. (If the photos outside the hotel are really from the hotel) When we asked how to work the air-conditioning we were told it was broken and was being fixed the day after our departure. Why would he give us the only room without air conditioning? It was very stuffy and uncomfortable in the room. The entire place is a run down mess - similar to Castres. If you need to go to Castres, the Grand Hotel would be a better bet. This was the worst stay we had on our 2 month trip in France.

The charm and character of this hotel has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. I would like my honeymoon again for the chance to spend it at this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay here, especially the unique Medieval décor in my room and the super speedy Wi-Fi that made working a breeze. The sun terrace was a perfect spot to unwind, and the refreshing drinks on offer were a nice touch. The only thing I’d note is that the parking can be tricky, but it’s worth it for the overall experience! 🌟

This is a very well situated hotel, in the centre of Castres. run by an enthusiastic couple who take a genuine interest in their guests. The hotel's furnishings reflect the extent of the owners' own travels and are interesting in themselves. Breakfast is extensive, rooms are comfortable and offer good value for money.
Parking, as often in French city centres, is not easy, but there is provision a short walk from the hotel and we found this perfectly satisfactory.

The Management were very friendly and welcoming. The decor and the room sumptious. The breakfast amazing, would thoroughly recommend this Hotel. We arrived by bicycle and a garage provided for our bikes too. The town of Castres and the Restaurants excellent. Will definiately return.

The location was a hit, just a stroll from charming shops and parks. They even prepared a great breakfast spread, which we thoroughly enjoyed, especially with the babies.
My wife says that evening meal choices could be more varied.
